MANHOLE / HERA

Ich stelle euch zwei Muster vor, die ich schon seit 2016 mit mir herumtrage. Sie sind vielleicht nichts Besonderes, aber da sie mit schönen Reiseerinnerungen verbunden sind und mir immer noch im Kopf herumgefen, sollen sie nun hier veröffentlicht werden.

I'd like to introduce two patterns that I've been carrying around with me since 2016.

They may not be anything special, but since they are associated with beautiful travel memories and are still floating around in my head, they may at last be published here.

Im Sommer 2016 war ich wandern und bin dem Fluss Wye von der Mündung bis zur Quelle gefolgt.

Aus den Eindrücken der Wanderung ist bereits 2017 das Muster Tint hervorgegangen.

In the summer of 2016 I went hiking and followed the River Wye from mouth to source.

The idea für my my pattern Tint goes back to the impressions of this long walk.

hera

Mir fielen am Wegesrand diese Dolden mit wunderhübschen Samen auf. Ich habe ein paar mitgenommen, ganz genau angeschaut und daraus das Streumuster hera entwickelt.

Denn die Pflanze heißt heracleum sphondyleum l., auf deutsch auch Wiesenbärenklau.

I noticed these umbels with beautiful seeds on the side of the road. I took a few with me, took a close look and developed the pasttern hera.
The plant is called heracleum sphondyleum l., in English it's meadow hogweed.

manhole

Auf dem WVW liegt auch Hereford. Die Stadt hat einiges zu bieten. Mein Blick fiel allerdings wie gebannt nach unten:Sooo viele Gullideckel mit allen möglichen Mustern!

Aus dem Muster oben links habe ich das schlichte, kontrastreiche manhole entwickelt.

Hereford is also on the WVW. The city has a lot to offer. However, my gaze fell spellbound downwards: so many manhole covers with all kinds of patterns!
From the pattern on the top left, I developed the simple, high-contrast manhole.

Hier siehst du eine Kachel mit hera and manhole, gemeinsam mit den Mustern quipple (ZT) und tint.

So sind alle drei Muster, die ich vom WVW mitgebracht habe auf dieser Kachel vereint.

Here you can see a tile with hera and manhole, along with quipple (ZT) and tint.
So all three patterns I brought back from the WVW are combined on this tile.
